Default Detroit should have 8" on the ground by Morning

Should be fun driving to work

Anyone else have several inches of snow?

Just spent half the day cleaning my driveway, glad I have a snow blower.

We had 18 inches or so yesterday. I've been shoveling all day, just got back inside and I'm beat. My driveway was about four feet deep what with all the drifting.

Coincidentally enough, my brother is visiting from Detroit - he was going to drive home yesterday, but he's still here and will be for another day or two.

No snow here yet, but it looks like it's headed our way. Hopefully it'll head northeast instead of due east and miss us.

The idiots here haven't a clue how to drive in snow. And the State doesn't know how to take care of it when we do get it.

We got almost four feet of snow last week. It started snowing last Saturday night/Sunday morning and didn't stop until Friday. Yesterday it was in the upper 30's and today it was in the upper 40's so a lot of it has actually melted. Just in time for the storm you guys in the Upper Mid West are going to be passing along to us within the next day or so.

I almost lost my car in snow in Detroit. After two weeks of just sitting, it was almost ice-welded over. Only 4 inches of side window was visible, and that was due to road crown.

Just taking a break from fixing the broken plows
Thought we would have more bent iron from the weight of the snow, but it's mostly broken lines and some electrical

We got about 6-7" of the heavy white chit yesterday. Today it is frozen solid and single digit temps with wind chills below zero.

We got about 14 inches over the weekend. The wind has been blowing hard, creating a lot of large drifts.

7AM this morning (Monday) the thermometer is reading 0F.

We have the same problem here.

It was 50 degrees when I left for work.
Tonight it's supposed to be low 40's. Winter sux no matter where you are.
