Default Crank scraper ?

This may be a dumb question but can you run a scraper with a windage tray?

I used the AP windage tray with the Canton pan too. Haven't installed the new one yet.

If you use a scraper doesn't that change how the oil pan installs?

No. Just use Ultra grey silicone on both sides of the scraper without a gasket. Use a gasket on the other side of the block. Cork rear pan gasket.

I have about 50 pass side oil pan gaskets for sale.............. cheap. LOL.

Ok. You can run one but do you need to ? I have the canton pan and no windage tray OR scraper. I was thinking about putting one or the other on next time the engine is out. Should I do both ?

Thumbs up

Both. The better the oil control. The less windage and more oil stays in the pan.
