Default FINALLY posting my pictures 69 Judge

I'm going to see how this first one looks and may have to use a better camera tomorrow. Project started in 2004 and just finished! I'm taking it to Bowling Green next month to be judged. This shot is with my camera phone. I'll do better tomorrow.

Car looks good Jimmy. I'll be heading to the PNW for the other national show that week so going to miss out on Bowling Green. Good luck to yourself and Tim Burton (Red Goat).

Thanks to all. Its been sooo long I still cant believe its finally finished. I have not driven it and I dont plan to but I'm looking forward to showing it. I've never put a car in a show before so I'm excited about that. I've put together a big book that has every single reciept starting in 2004 until I got the R59 battery last month. It's a lot thicker than I thought it would be when I first started. Im sure I'm not the first to say that!

Very nice!!

Those red lines look sweet!

Not sure why you didn't go with red/white/black stripes and decals?

I went with what was supposed to be correct? Is that not right?

FWIW: I always thought Liberty Blue was to get Red Black White?

I know other color Blue 69 Judges did too like the Crystal Turquoise one on ebay recently.

So, I'm only going on what I thought was factory correct?

Yours look great just the way it is!

I was just wondering why....

Judge273 is correct. The Liberty Blue cars received the Red, Black, White stripes when new. Many have been restored with the Yellow, Red, Blue.

Here is a pic of my Liberty Blue/ Parchment 69. It still wears the original paint and stripes. The previous owner dropped a valve in 1974 and it has been sitting in a garage ever since. She is still waiting for me to put her original power plant back in it. Too many projects!

Jeff,
definitely one of the best color combos on a Judge! Like the Torque Thrust style wheels too.
