Cool My DIY home built car lift

Well, I finally got the lift completed. I still need to get some tall jack stands but I will get those in a few days. I will be able to have just over 4 ft of clearance under the car. Unfortunately I don't have a taller ceiling or I could raise it higher. That will be just about right for me setting on my roll around mechanics stool though. You can check out my first video of the setup on my blog HERE
Now it's time to get to work!

Interesting, about 12 years ago I did that with an old portable air jack that stand up, and secured it and added longer forks. The air jack piston was huge and the car went up in the air soooo fast!. I didnt feel safe front to back though. Looks like you got it covered though. Have a 1 way saftey valve on the hydraulics?

Thanks, I was able to get some tall jack stands, so I added another video along with some pictures of the build.
