Maybe multiple suppliers.

Briggs and Scrapiron made keys in Milwaukee for GM into the '80s.

Default RP Keys

My '66 Bonneville convertible had only one original key a Rochester Products key when I acquired it 24 years ago. I was told RP was a supplier for a very limited period of time but they apparently were a supplier in 1964.

I have searched for many years to find NOS blanks and believe they are non-existent.
