Hmmm... center bolt insert mod and claw sharpening? That intake looks interesting. Pretty headers. Interesting background stuff too.

Amazing! A tiger headed motor Put together by a Pontiac guy not just a cv-1 guy but a Pontiac guy. Now I hope you plan on posting a few dyno #'s soon.

... yeah, i'll post em' when its done, this build was a fairly common situation, customer wanted to address some problems he was having, but didnt want to replace everything, so the carb, headers, camshaft, lifters and valves all remained ...
... so i was forced to try and make the heads better in the range of this camshaft, and it turned out they didnt disappoint, so we are excited to see what she does ... i just hope we can make the carb happy without major changes, as the avg/cfm of the baseline flow test was 277cfm, the new avg/cfm went up to 305cfm ...
... we are hoping for a nice improvement ... i guess we'll see ...

Nice improvement. Is this combo using the raised floor wide port you have been working on?

It's going into a late model Firebird chassis car. The goal of this build was to improve the HP while not having the need to buzz the engine to 8500 RPM. The focus was to improve low to mid lift airflow, the volume of the port is only slightly larger than the original port shape. Extensive work was completed on the manifold, a few changes inside the engine too.

To You’ll.

Frank and I think it's great to be part of this hobby in making good parts that make all of us go fast. We like to seeing where people take our parts that we made and make them better.

We are proud of everyone here on this board. Good job everyone.
