I found one of those under the original carpet in my '61 Bonneville, I though it was neat.

My '67 Catalina had a tag like that still stapled to it as well. It was nifty.

You tear that tag off and the rug cops will be on you.

I think the FBI gets involved if you ratchet up to mattress tags.
Cool find.

Ya, it' pretty neat finding things like that unexpectedly.

When I pulled my power driver seat to do some troubleshooting I also found the manufacturers tags.

What really struck me is that the Magee Carpet Company was located in Bloomsburg not very far from me and I was unaware that they had supplied the automotive industry.

Fortunately for me, my carpet is still in good condition except for some fading.

I found those tags on the original carpet in my 71 Castillian Bronze GTO - unfortunately I don't have a picture of them and they went with the car to the new owner.

My 70 Bonne had the tag under the carpet also. Still had the tags behind the door panels that the dealers would tear off half to prove the removed the panel.

The white rectangle by the window crank in the picture.
