Default Title question for Mass.

Curious if anyone has ever dealt with duplicate titles in Mass and how long it really takes to receive them. RMV websight says they process in 2 days. I purchased a trailer a month ago from an individual there, paid in full for it under the impression he was going to mail the title out the following Monday. Then of course the old "cant find it" stories come about. I know, stupid for paying for it in full in the first place. I went online and ordered a duplicate 2 weeks ago. It mailed out to the seller on the 11th. I think we should have seen it by now. I checked the title online and it was clear and actually in the sellers name and he bought it new. I dont like being in this situation. The trailer is pretty much useless to me without it.

did you get a BOS?
some states will recognize that along with proof of registration or an old tag
our state doesnt require a title unless the trailer weighs over 2K

I usually get a duplicate in a week or less. Sometimes it may take a bit longer.
PM me your info and i will see what I can do.

All I got was just a hand written receipt. I called the dealer he purchased it at and they knew the trailer but did not have any paperwork on it since its an 07. I took the initiative to go online myself and order the duplicate. It definitely should have been there by now. It was sent on the 11th. I checked and it will require a title here in NY or Maine in order for me to register it.
