Default 60 rear end

I looked at one yesterday at a friends shop. It is complete (disassembled) open rear end that came from a '60 bonneville. $400 will probably buy it. Located in Olwein, Iowa. If interested , PM me for a phone number.

I've got one from a 63 GP factory 3 speed car. Take $300. Need to pull apart and check, but think its a low 3 series open. Have a buddy working in NW Iowa that could help with delivery that far.

Was the 63 GP a 3 speed manual on the column?

Not sure. The body was gone when I got the drivetrain from it.

Default 3 speed

Actually in 62,63,64 if you ordered a GP and did not select the optional 4 speed syncromesh or the rotohydramatic you got a 3 speed on the column. You still got your bucket seats and a console although the console is different from the others. It only had a glove box between the seats. The 3 on the tree grand prixs are pretty rare but there are a few out there.
