Default factory ac and 307 sbc value?

Hello. I bought a 1972 ventura last week. 307 auto with ac. I'm going to put a 455 in the car. Does the factory ac have any value? It is complete minus compresser and brackets. I'm taking out all the ac stuff and selling the 307 that appers rebuilt with low miles. Do these have any resale value? Thanks. Bryan

Not sure on a value but I can say that I have yet to have any luck selling mine. Going to take the right buyer at the right time.

The value to you to keep the A/C is big but definetly get rid of the 307, that engine was a piece of junk when new & only good for a boat anchor now. But keep the A/C you'll want it in the summer.

If you get $50 for the 307 consider yourself very lucky

I pulled the A/C out of my 74 GTO, and was able to sell a few pieces (primarily the engine side evaporator box, which often gets damaged over the years), but I still have all the ductwork and under dash stuff that nobody wants...doesn't seem to be much demand for that stuff, even though it interchanges with the Nova.
