pay out structure
I was wondering if you have a payout structure for the racing classes, Last year I heard alot of people saying it would be nice to know when you get round money and how much. Also winner and runner up $$ Could it be posted on the flyer ?/

I see the Maple Grove schedule has the Doug Foley racing school scheduled for the 16th also. How much time are they going to take. Last time I went to a track that had them no one got to run till they were done which was after noon time.

Here's a sample of M.G. pro rated purses Super $60 round money starting round 3 Up to 32 – $600 win -$300 runner-up 33 to 47- $800 win- $400 runner-up 48 to 63 -$1,000 win- $500 runner-up 64 to 73 -$1,500 win- $700 runner-up 74 to 83- $1,700 win -$800 runner-up 84 to 99 -$1,800 win- $900 runner-up 100 and up -$2,200 win -$1,000 runner-up Pro $40 round money starting round 3 Up to 32- $300 win -$150 runner-up 33 to 47- $500 win- $250 runner-up 48 to 63 -$600 win- $300 runner-up 64 to 73- $900 win- $400 runner-up 74 to 83 -$1,000 win -$500 runner-up 84 to 99 -$1,100 win- $600 runner-up 100 and up -$1,200 win- $700 runner-up Street $30 round money starting round 3 Up to 32- $225 win- $125 runner-up 33 to 64- $350 win- $175 runner-up 65 and up -$375 win- $200 runner-up I think more racers would come if you posted a payout structure, With the rising cost of Everything it would be nice to have a idea what your racing for !!! This is the 3rd year Jim has made a go at a Pontiac only race at MG since new management took over.
Perhaps if some would stop pissing and moaning about no published payout, and just show up and support the event, it can grow into what we would all love...a sizeable Pontiac only event centrally located where the bulk of the east coast Pontiacs are located (between NY and DC). Then perhaps more sponsor money would come onboard, and a payout could be published. This goes for the show car folks too, you have to come out and support the event if you want it to survive. I swear, the show car people pissed me off something fierce last year, leaving early from the PY event on Saturday so they could partake in an evening cruise in town...a cruise whose sponsors have paid zilch, nada, nothing, to support your hobby. People piss and moan about there not being enough Pontiac events that are worth going to, yet they don't come out and support them to make them grow...I don't understand it. Jim has continuously stuck his neck out to get these events going, and you people don't come out and support them like you should. Remember the Costner movie "Field of Dreams"? "Build it and he will come"? Well, Jim is trying to build it, will you come and help him, or stay home because there is no posted payout?
