Where did he leave that car 15 years ago ? in the ghetto? I was surprised it still had a motor.

I generally enjoy watching Danny, but my heart sank when I saw that ridiculous cowl induction hood.

I noticed the Chevrolet Orange Pontiac engine, but at least it stayed Pontiac powered. And they stayed with the four speed and the Crager wheels made for a nice touch. I wasn't crazy about the hood either but the rest of the car looked nice.

At first when they just flashed the engine I thought they had committed the ultimate sin and put a (puke) chevy in it. When I slowed the picture down I was happy to see they just painted the engine to match the exterior of the car...........

If it was Fast and Loud show instead, I know it would have ended up with a SBC in it. Those guys think they have original ideas, however they just follow the crowd when it comes to powering any GM car or hot rod with a SBC.

I disagree. If it were the Gas Monkey monkeys, they would have simply powerwashed whatever was under the hood and roll it out on the auction floor as a "survivor".

Those guys got out of their way to put minimal effort into every thing they touch.

Those monkeys just "ghettoize" most cars they buy and are surprised when they don`t find buyers with deep pockets.

He recognized the car by the "Anthax" sticker on the dash...and had previously said they had "some good times" in that car.

Yeah....I'll bet.

I like to call that the Pontiac man's sleeper look. Paint the engine orange so nobody will think it's fast.

I like Counting cars the most out of the car resto shows, Danny seems like a genuinely nice car guy

Drag racing. An adrenalin rush like no other. It felt like going into combat, tasting your first beer, and losing you virginity, all in about 8 seconds.

Flames were being put on hot rods long before 91...............

If the flames are done tastefully I like them, If they look like seaweed trailing across the car, you have no business painting flames. Leave the flame jobs to the masters, not the amateurs that think they know what they're doing....................
