Default New tires for 68 GTO

I know there are several threads on this, but I am ready to buy new tires for my 68 GTO.

Currently, I have BF Goodrich Drag Radial 235/60R15's on the rear, and Mickey Thompson Sportsman 26X7.50/15 on the front.

I am looking at the Cooper Cobra Tires, mainly for the best price.

How about P255/60R15 on the rear and P235/60R15 on the front? Also, White lettering out, or black wall?

Just getting opinions before I buy. Thanks very much!

On my 69 Judge Ive got P275/R60s on back and P205/R70s on front. I like the old school stance. BFs all around.

Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 P235/60/15. I went with the same size all the way around in case I ever put enough miles on the car that I need to rotate the tires.

White letter out is dated IMP and makes it look too much like a NASCAR.

Go Black out!

I still like white letter tires but on your car, I think the black walls look better. Gives it a stealthy look.

Redlines would look awesome on that 69 IMO but costly.

I really want Redlines, but just not in the budget right now. The tires on it are old and weather-checked. I don't want to drive it until they are replaced.

Thanks again for the responses! I really appreciate it!

Are those DB tires? They look like the perfect size (width 3/8"?) stripe and right color. Lately I have been seeing wider stripes and a too bright red color that I don't care for.

Default Tires

Just finished getting a 68 GTO Convertible back on the road after 31 years in storage. The old tires were weather checked and rims were pitted and starting to rust. Sold the owner some correct JC code Rally IIs and installed BF Goodrich Redline Radials. Here are the before and after pictures of the car.
