wow, that Florentine Red '73 is pretty amazing, would love to hear more of the story on how it got preserved all these years with virtually no miles.

I think it's PERFECT...just the way it is.....

The colors are right,no A/C....no dress up side, belt or w/o moldings...just a NICE clean NO mile original.......

I'd loose the Rally II's...........needs the finned plastic wheel covers & skinny whitewalls.....

However.....the "reduced" price needs some more work.........What do we figure this baby is REALLY worth?

My take...15-17 K......

I cannot believe some idiot put 2500+ miles on an original 40 year old car with <100 miles on the odometer. Still cool with 2600 miles, but a 62 mile car is a whole different league.. There are 5000 mile and 7500 mile original 2nd gens out there. But a 62 mile anything 2nd gen would have been a sweet time capsule.. Too bad an idiot bought it..

I realize that it's pretty tough to judge colors correctly online, but the color on this car doesn't look very Florentine to me........looks too light and metallic....almost like Firethorne......wonder if it's been re-painted?

I've got pics of my friend's Buc Red 74 after I put the decals on it...taken with both his and my cameras...same time, same place.
You'd think they were two different cars, the paint colour is so different between the two cameras.

I dont know why someone would ruin the car by changing the belts, shocks, hoses, tires..
Those are the best parts?

I agree.

Now it's on eBay, with 2,800 miles (had 2,600 in the CL ad). The seller states:
"The car was purchased to do a mild pro touring build with, and it's just too nice and original to alter."

"1974 SD Trans Am...4spd/with 29,000 miles...original paint,asking 85k (paid 110k in 2007)
All cars are stock,as new,investment grade. "

Doesn't sound like that good of an investment to me

I seriously don't get the ads like the 75 ad. "Car is completely unmolested". Sure as long as you overlook the fact that everything on the car has been replaced with something new. That doesn't qualify for unmolested in my book. Why not just say nicely restored?
