Great looking car.
So, I bring one back from Maryland to California and you bring one back to Illinois from California. That is a net sum gain. |

Oh, I forgot to mention that we both got our 72 455 HO manual cars delivered yesterday. Kinda funny and look forward in getting the two cars together for a rip around Lake Geneva.
I guess driving them out to the nats is an option too? Many happy miles bro, Brew |

Based on the first picture showing the car sitting behind the lowered liftgate of a transporter, I'm guessing he didn't drive it home. DOH!

Brew: Nice grab! Tell me this isn't SDDs car and you were able to pry it from his fingers.

This Sundance car was the 455HO 4 speed that was for sale along with the red 73 and 74 SDs out in California. It definitely is a beauty! Congrats on the purchase.
These cars were advertised on Craigslist and that a link to that ad was posted on PY. I spoke to the seller a few times about the 73 but couldn't come to an agreement. Part of the frustration was that I asked him several times to email me good photos but all I would get from him was low resolution texted photos sent to my phone, taken with his cellphone, from inside a garage. They weren't of nearly enough quality to judge the car from. I told him that I needed to see good photos before I was booking a flight to come out and inspect the car. I asked for carb photos and he said that it was too much trouble to take off the shaker to get them for me. After that I stopped bothering him. Just as an aside, if I was selling a high value car, I would take the time and take a bunch of good photos so I had something ready to send out to people. Otherwise, it just turns potential, legitimate buyers off. He mentioned that he was going to put the two SDs on ebay if they didn't sell from the Craigslist ad. http://forums.maxperformanceinc.com/...d.php?t=732744 Last edited by njsteve; 08-08-2013 at 08:13 AM. |

Bob's right! Long way to fly in and drive home. Plus Chris has a great group to transport these cars. Nice, safe and enclosed. I will post PHS when I get the full sheets. I have only a fax. Got the important goodies on it.
Brew's new ride Silver Streak is very similar optioned too and is a Chicago car. Hope he shares details as it is way cool too. This one is Sundance from CA so appro and well kept by a great guy with good friends on PY. I told my wife its a factory spoiler car. She added it more on the subject of spoiler... Please feel free to comment as I'm new to this F-body thing! I do know the engine bay needs the most work. PB my sticker is temp, and Norwood will provide correct stove pipe, etc... Y-99 too! Gardener exhaust system and factory underside.. I did get some stuff started as I got correct air cleaner element in and more to come.
