Definitely nice, like new condition. Thanks for the link to be able to see it.

Pity it has the formal quarter windows though. To me, they don't look as good as the louvered quarter windows that Sport Coupes normally came with.

Thats a nice looking car, I wonder what it will go for being a just plain jane car. It's nice but without the louvered windows it will shoot down the price a bit but it is nice looking. All pic's didn't down load for me , I was wornering if someone can let me know if it's a chevy or a Pontiac engine. If it's a chevy engine that will shoot down the price some to. But the body is nice.

Can I ask about what engines US Pontiacs were built with in 1975 ? It seems to me that the only way this could have a Chevy engine in it is if it were a six cylinder or a Canadian built and marketed car. Am I wrong?

I think you're right. No Chevy V8's in U.S. Pontiacs in 1975. Only Pontiac V8's.

It's nice but definitely not the original paint job, look at how shiny new the coat is on the trunk under lid and on door jams, plus the hood is missing the sound insulation (sounds like repainted to me). Also, engine and air cleaner have been blasted, repainted and detailed. But nice, dash is immaculate.

I have the formal windows on my 74 LSC daily driver (so i don't think that's a negative) but I also have factory buckets and floor shift - bench seat with column shift is not as sporty in my opinion!

1975 Canadian built and sold LeMans cars were available as follows:

LeMans:
Chevy: 250 CID 1bbl 6 cylinder, 350 CID V8 2 bbl and 4bbl
Pontiac: 400 CID V8 4bbl

LeMans Safari:
Pontiac: 400 CID V8 2 bbl & 4 bbl , 455 CID V8 4bbl

All had catalytic converters and HEI ignition.

NOTE: The Chevy 305 CID V8 2bbl was added in 1976.

This is a beautiful time capsule for sure. However, it has had an extreme detailing to make it appear as off the assembly line. Not that it's a bad thing, but just sayin'.

This engine has been re-painted

When I saw the title of this thread, I thought it was going to probably be this car.
http://www.johnscotti.com/en/used/19...e-mans/614047/
This outfit has had this Lemans for at least seven years. Interesting to compare it to the Florida eBay car. It's about a fraternal twin.
They were asking north of $20,000 last I knew.

This looks to me like it could be re-sprayed in BC/CC.
