What is the correct color stripe kit for a Cameo White '69 Judge? and who makes the best stripe kit these days? Thanks in advance!

John, the restoration guide shows blue. (Yellow/Red/Blue) That sounds like a good combination on white...
Found this on the Judge parking lot and it has Black???
I would like to see one with blue, I think it would look a little better then the black. IMO

Wonder if stripe color was dependent on the interior color of the car?

I don't think so.

Look at Ultimate GTO site.

I'd say that based on Liberty Blue alone that chart is not right......

JamRSW6, I wonder if your right because the blue stripe wouldn't look right with that red interior.

Why do you say that Mike?

I imagine some one could have ordered a different color stripe.
May be on the build sheet if you have one.

I know of 3 LB Judges that came with black/white red from factory.

That chart is not right. i had an original paint cameo white judge back in the early 80's and it had white black and red stripes on it. Just like liberty blue judges had new and matador red cars.

Default 69 Judge Cameo White Stripe Colors

So from what you guys are saying, the chart on Ultimate GTO is wrong (which states Yellow/Red/Blue) for a Cameo White car.

Also, the above pic from the Nationals shows a (Yellow/Red/Black) stripe combo on this Cameo Judge [with red interior]

My Judge is White with Black interior. - Should I be getting the (Yellow/Red/Black) stripes or is Don right with the (White/Red/Black) based off his original car?

In addition, notice the GTO fender emblem, it appears completely white. Is this correct? or would they be filled black on the GTO letters with the bars body color and the chrome showing on the sides?

Just trying to get it right so I won't get clipped at GTOAA Judging....

It is my understanding - which may not be right - that the Judge had one standard stripe that was later changed in the middle of the year. I think this was for Carousel Red only, but it's possible that this stripe was used for other colors (a theory with no factual basis).

However, anyone could override the default stripe and get another one. This may be the circumstance to some of the cars above.

I used Phoenix Graphix and was very happy with their Stripe kit.

I have owned two of them, both with black interior. and both cars had the dark blue. this was back in the early 80's and both were original paint.

My white '69 had the dark blue stripes when I bought it in 1977 (they look almost black unless out in the sunlight). One fender was repaired at some point in its life and a black stripe was installed. It wasn't obvious unless you were looking for it. The Phoenix Graphics stripes match what was on it (I'm pretty sure some other manufacturers make stripes with a lighter blue).

Not to beat a dead horse, but here are a couple pictures that show how dark the blue is. It's almost black until out in the sun.

I have a set of NOS blue stripes that are the same dark blue.
