Is there a part number on the box? That will help.

The interesting thing is the logo on the dispenser itself looks late 1950s, while the logo on the box is early to mid 1960s. I suppose for accessories like tissue dispensers they would use the same design for a number of years, so maybe they didn't bother updating the logo.

It looks like there is a similar one on ebay:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/1964-65-Pont...a3801f&vxp=mtr

It's box says part# is 984776 and the ad says it fits 64-65 GTO & Lemans

But if you plug that number into PY's Parts Lookup database, it says 1967. Does that sound right?

The slight gold & white style packaging suggests late 60's accessory pkg...

In a box in the attic somewhere, have a nice GM accessory pkg tissue dispenser that does not have the emblem in the center. Its smooth chrome across the front, with some sort of gray enamel around the edges. I used to be the one that installed it in my Dad's later vehicles. It either was installed by him in in a '65 Ventura or a '69 Executive wagon when new. I can remember installing it in several of his company cars & two of his Chevy short bed pickups. Used to do the same with an old reel out underhood light, always removing it & installing it in the next vehicle

Can't speak for '64-'65 but '66 &'67 used the same dispenser just had a different Pt#

A came up with these dispenser listings on the PY Parts Lookup database.

When I purchased this unit a couple of years ago it was my understanding it's for a 1967! I never installed it because we added air to our car and the center vent goes where the dispenser should be. I tried to sell this unit at last year's BOPC and was told it's for cars in the late 50s. So now Im okay with stating mid 60s!

Thanks Paul

Post Tissue dispenser

Hi Mark

I can post a photo later today of the one that came with my 66 2+2 if you want.
It does have the Pontiac logo in the center, but it also has it's share of minor pits from being installed all these years.
Still a pretty interesting accessory!
And sorry, I'm not selling it.

Ron
