1.5k original miles and the engine is not original?

Is it a real TA?

Hmmmm... 1.5k showing on the odo now, or 1.5k since the "restoration"? If I were a betting man I'd wager a whole bunch of money that that thing has a LOT more than 1500 miles!

VIN places it well into TA production so it's possible, but later than the transition from wood to Formula wheel. Didn't all TA's get disc brakes?

Nice looking car.

Im sure the auction doesn't know much about these cars. Looks like an estate sale? Either way, if it is a real TA, its certainly worth the 15-20K they are looking for. Hope someone here snatches it up.

$23,250. I guess that would include fees.

Well I thought it would blow it up a little, so we could scrutinize it.

I had thought about calling Jim with the VIN but didn't want to bother him on a Saturday, thought to call Matt to see if it was on his list, but ended up googling the VIN and there it was. Nice car, well done from what I could see, even had the nose emblem. An older e-bay auction claimed the PHS was for a 400 car. I registered & bid on it but pulled out when the bidding & the 21% sellers premium put it over 20k.

Whoever won it got what looks to be a fun car for not a lot of money but they likely paid what it's worth when they're done.

Nice car,I would have bid on it if I had not just bought back my clone car back.I would have been a player for 25K out the door on it.Did not read if it had a steel hood.Tom

No personal connection or info on this one that I briefly drove at 2013 MECUM Houston, other than IMO it was a very tight driving and clean clone example w 4spd.

It "felt right", nice solid car, well bought.

I was wondering that as well - no info on it anywhere I looked.
