Smile Idle speed solenoid

Does anyone know who makes or where I can find the bolts that mounts the solenoid to the carb? This is for the SD cars and also 4spd cars. Two (2) required.

Default bolts

do you mean the bolt securing the solenoid to the bracket...or the bolts that secure the carb. to the manifold, that also secures the bracket the solenoid is attatched to?

If you have the part number try AMK.

Not sure how the SD might differ from a 455HO if at all, but here is a 455HO setup. Inline tube has the correct brackets, bolts and nuts if that's what you need.

Bob,
'73 and '74 use a completely different setup. There are 2 bolts that screw into the front of the carb body, rather than the front carb bolt like a '71 or '72 HO, but appreciate your input

Yes, you are correct two (2) screws that hold the bracket to the front of the carb. The group # is 3.444 part # is 10004391 out of the Pontiac book. In 73-74 the way that the bracket attached changed. Pontiac calls it a bolt it is what we call a screw go figure.

.I did not think that 72 and 73 would be so different...however Inline Tube has some great stuff that no one else carries!

I've seen hex bolts and slotted screws.

your second pic shows the correct ones. They have a flat head screwdriver type head on them with a bolt thread, so they are actually bolts.

your first pic is a Service Replacement carb, thus the hex head bolts (think that was Lloyd's old carb)...

Here is a shot of the original( not working, in case someone has one to sell) attachment to the original carb.

It looks like both of those carbs are SD-455. One looks to be a replacement the other original.

No, I'm using mine, sorry.

The Group #3.444 idle solenoid bracket attaching screw, 7030567, is (I believe) a #12-28 x 1/2" machine screw. But, don't quote me on the size yet. And, yes, the second carb is a '4273 unit.
