Default 69 Firebird Conv Wire ID... 3 Wires from under dash ???????????

I am getting ready to reinstall the dash in my 69 Firebird. I didn't take it apart and these wires were not marked. I'm assuming the first two wires go under the dash and the purple one I'm not even sure if its for this car. Any help appreciated.

The large purple wire is generally used for some sort of power option, so it may vey well be the direct power to your power top.

The wires for the power top motor are in place, there is a purple and grey wire harness that runs from under the dash to the motor.

The purple wire is a very heavy gauge wire though, it may also be from a 73 TA.

the gray wires with the light are courtesy lights. mine are located in the bottom outer corners of the dash both sides. I believe the fiber optic looking light and light bulb is for the cigarette lighter and ashtray

My courtesy lights under the dash and are working, they both have an orange and white wire going to the bulb. I'll check into the cig lighter. Thanks

The reason I though the purple wire was your top power wire is because of the size of it. But I was just guessing as I didn't know for sure as thats why your asking. Just trying to help.

The gray wire with the bulb socket appears to be for the clock or tach.

If the power top wiring is still there, the purple wire is probably from the neutral switch to the starter solenoid.

The one with a bulb looks like it has the fiber-optic cable that usually goes to the ash tray.
(the fiber optic cable)

OK the black wire is the fiber optic cable that goes to the top of the ashtray, thanks for the suggestions. Still wondering about the grey wire, my car did not come with the clock so I don't think its for that but?, any other guesses?

OK update on the grey wire , this wire is 4 feet long, the white plug is a combination plug, it has a male on one end and a female on the other. It looks like it could plug into the fusebox? and then something plugs into it. What would the clip end be for?

I jumped on Ebay and found several harnesses that looked very similar, the only difference was they had a black connector instead of a white one like mine. The harnesses on there were for the AT shift indicater light on the console. Did 69's have this light? My car was a AT but I converted it to a 4 speed so I won't need it if so.
