Exclamation 67 428 Catalina convertible

Orig A 400 car, but has a date coded matching drivetrain from a 67 428 Catalina. The amazing thing is the car was put together before Internet got big so not sure how drivetrain was procured. Coded block, heads, carb, possible intake, 342 posi rear all proper codes. Clean 8 lugs, power bench A/C car. Needs some body work but black interior is clean and presentable. Ext is gold. Chrome bumpers and interior bits are clean runs good and when I did a re seal of the engine I checked the bearings and had minimal wear. Car was done around 1980 but has been driven very little. Last owner started to drive by Brail so it needs some metal work.

I don't post much here and sold it to a friend who really does not drive it much and has decided he does not have the space or time to do the body work. He is not really a Pontiac guy and is asking 6500.00 for it and some pics can be added and I can get his info posted. I know most of u are on the east side of the states but car is worth doing or take ur 428 car that is missing its drivetrain and make it coded right. Verified the codes from car against PHS docs when I ran them. Thought it might have been the real deal when I first bought it from a client.

Any interest before I get pics added and his info just PM or ail me.
thanks and good day to all

Eric

You might find it in Portland oregon craigslist.....in one photo is the old man I bought it from who comes into the shop time to time in his 52 chevy now. Guy to the right is actually Josh. He was at the shop the day I bought it from the old man. some pics of when I first bought it. Looks the same I pulled the motor out and put new gaskets in it before I sold it to Josh a couple years ago. It looks the same and he barely has driven it. Mice snuck in on the dash insulation he has cleaned it up. Needs to sell it before they make a real home in it

THing runs very nicely and gets with the program. Just needs body work car has a fair amount of body filler on it from when it had a restoration on it..
