We have 65 hours in it now. Every nut and bolt was replaced or repainted. Drilled out the bolt carefully and ran a tap. I will have more pics soon.

The A/C compressor looks to be the A6 aftermarket replacement. At least they don't have an unreliable front shaft seal.

Yes thats what it is. Everything else is original except exhaust manifolds which were cracked all the way thru.

The engine & compartment look great keep up the great work. When there done like that it makes all our cars look good. The only problem is to keep them looking like that. I have to wash & wipe & polish mine about once a week to keep all the dust off mine. I.ve found that by wiping it down with a really cheap dusting spray just before I open the hood for a cruise or show makes it look nice & shiney for about 4-5 hours during the show time. It doesn't stay that way long but during it looks great.

Wow,

I want to be your friend. Nice finish on the pulleys. Looks very original. I took my 81 Chevy pickup to a tuner guy one time in Wheatfield New York. It came back with all the plug wires attached to new factory looms, he said, I don't know any other way to do it.

Your detail is great.

so not all the exhaust manifold bolts came out huh? did you have to use torches and wax to get them out? also..please tell me about how you did the paint--i cannot find the 73-74 color in quart cans to spray...did you use primer? i should just drop about 10 of my cars off at your place and you call me when they look like this..

We drilled out bolts then ran a slow tap to clean threads. They do not make 73 paint motor in quarts cans. Classic Industrys makes it in the cans. Its really all in the preping that makes it turn out nice. Befor you spray heat some water up in a bowl so you can let the paint can sit in it to heat up befor you spray. We used etching primer on most everything we painted. Thanks for the nice comments. We charged $50 a shop hour and customer paid for all parts replaced.
