Bases are correct for Vacuum set-up for a pre-1964 unit.
Manifold might be a 61-early 62 unit. On later vacuum set-ups the Vac Diaphram was on rear carb A picture of the other side would tell more levers would tell more. Tops of carbs are cobbled Center carb top looked like right piece at one time Unit has the Vacuum Switch. and Bracket but looks beat. Looks like a $35.00 deal to me. Tom V.

Tags on carbs???
Looks a little rough from here, hope it's a good deal! (If I bought such a setup, this is about where I'd have to start from). Looks 64-earlier to me also... Nice score!!!

Can't see everything but the heat riser crossover looks like 1960 or older. Carb top castings not right as the front and rear carb fuel entry should be entering from the sides not the front. Maybe that is also correct for pre 1960. Measure the venturi size on all three carbs. If 1959 or later then the front and rear should be a little larger than the center. 58 and older are all the same size.

Thanks Option 382. Maybe an optical illusion but the Outer carb bases looked larger vs the center carb. Did 57-58 carbs have 2G outers? Know little about pre 61-stuff.

It's hard to tell too much detail from the picture provided. Someone could have changed thottle bodies and bored out the manifold, you never know what you get with used tri-pwr set up anymore. 1957/58 carbs are Rochester 2Gs with throttle bodies of 1 7/16" for all 3.
The owner of these new carbs can look for a casting number on the bowl. If they are 57/58 they should have the casting of 7009094. |

It's a '57 or '58 with the 7009094 float bowls on all the carbs. The end carb tops look correct for '57/'58 which had the fuel fittings in the front and were cast with the choke housing, but not machined.
The only usable item for a '59 or later Pontiac would be the center carb--not exactly right for a '64/'65 setup, but functionally OK.

Good INFO Dick, the choke housing on all three carbs (as stock) was something that I had not seen or paid attention to in the past.
