A young man and women wearing Kauffman attire were passing those out at Norwalk. Been to Bowling Green's track last year for Dragweek- very nice facilities. We are going to try to make it.

Nice track. Covered bleachers are a plus with the old baseball stadium seats. Tends to get a little warm since it's in a valley but I'd go.

I won't be there, but see that Scott Burton and Randi Lyn Shipp are both on the entry list, in stock.

That's probably going to be the same weekend as the Denver Divisional. So my guess is Scott will probably stay home and pick up a race in his back yard. Now on the other hand Mike Brand might show up for that deal if it's not the same weekend as the Bristol National.

Bill your coming to visit...we'll all go up from here... We like Beech Bend alot!

BTW... right next store is an amusement/water park... they discount after 3pm...

S/st 54... get your stuff together and come this way.... your wife wants to do Nashville anyway so you'll be about 45 min from downtown.

Usually a good hooking track and its got covered grandstands and plenty of shade areas. On site camping and if you reserve early enough you can even rent a trailer. BTW plenty of motels/places to eat/shop in Bowling Green.

Thanks for postin that Bill

To bad there is only bracket racing. Needs a Quick 16 and a heads up race like Tom's race.

When the POCI Nationals was held in Bowling Green a few years back it was announced at the track that an annual Pontiac Drag Race would take place in June would take place. Then shortly after the Nationals were over (and around the time that the then President passed away) it was cancelled. This could have something to do with that, I dunno.

Anyway, it's fairly close to me and I'll try my best to be there.

I'll have to ck elevation but pretty sure its well under 1000 ft. I forget what my GPS says. I didnt see it on there web site but might be listed on the NHRA track locator.

Some pics of the place here http://www.beechbend.com/aboutus.htm and you can access race schedules, camping, amusement links from there as well

Enough shade you shouldnt get much sunburn there Bill.
