Default Prices?

Has anyone been tracking 71-72 TA prices?

What the highest price so far? I imagine LB 4 speeds are the prime?

Want to here some real numbers to date. Thoughts shared on trends.

Thought this would be a good place to see the private deals?

Easy to check mecum, Barrett, and eBay.

I haven't seen many advertised and if you look at the "wanted ads" not many responses.

It also depends on the year of the sale. My old, white, 72 4-speed car T/A brought a lot more than that in a private sale...(but not even half of the amount of $$$$$$ that I actually had into its restoration).

That sale very well could be the high water mark for 71/72 Trans Am?.....

That car sold in Dallas for 65. Good money considering it was a automatic.

I've found that asking for prices in private sales is along the same lines as asking how much somebody makes or how their wife likes it in bed. If you get an answer at all, it may not be the truth.

First of all I dont know what the big deal is about telling someone or the world what you paid for or sold a car for. JMO.

Secondly : A member here and good friend of mine recently purchased a 72 LB 4spd. T/A for around $42K. If he decide's to step forward and respond's to this thread is his bussiness. I will for now leave his name out of this, but if I sold any of my cars I would'nt have a problem telling anyone. It's a good sign of the market strengh and weather the value's of these car's are on the rise or fall.Again JMO

Reminds me of the old Monty Python skit:
