Is it '69 only? Not sure the code, but I have a 3.55 in my wife's 67 bird that will come out eventually.

To avoid some confusion - the "N" is not stamped it's cast into the top front of the center section.

The 69 axle housing is one year only as the axle tubes are crimped down above the rear spring perches go. This is a ZH 3.55 axle shown.

No confusion, stated stamped for lack of a better term. Obviously it is cast as part of the mold... Thanks for that teaser pic though!!! Just one more part I was screwed on when I purchased my "correct" T/A 24yrs ago when I had less knowledge.....

I sold the one pictured to a fellow PY member and he reported that it was destroyed in a storage building fire earlier this year.

I've looked for 3 yrs+ with no luck so that would have really sucked.......
