68 bird with a 505. 871 with mechanical fuel injection. Our cars should run very similar.

That was the game plan last (2014) year! I came to Norwalk with a NEW Camshaft ready to boost it up and KICK some BUTT, well the rest is HISTORY...............my already weak Valve Springs couldn't handle the NEW CAM and the BOOST I was trying to through at it. I TRIED!! So H_LL yes I'll try it again this year BUT unlike last year i'll some laps on it before I show up at Norwalk!

I may be heading out that way, IF my engine and are both still in one piece by August. Maybe we can come up with a fourth Roots-blown "roller skate" and run a little round robin deal. I'm at 475" and 3040# with a 10-71. 'Course, I'd have to de-tune for the mine shaft air.
