Default "Splash" into the tank..its a 1970

OK, this says its a Ram air car, ( L74) The documentation indicates it could be a WT ( L78) car ( no indication of engine option) , thoughts?

It has the rare F-Body hood tach option. Too bad they left it off the documentation along with a few other options the car seems to have.

The car looks pretty good.

What's a WT car Bruce?

WT ( RPO) L78 engine ( 400 4bbl) vs a WS RA3 (RPO L74 400 4 bbl) Block engine codes

Doesn't list the 348 coded engine (4BBL 400 R/A). It's not an original Ram Air car.

Beautiful car, but based on the documentation it is non-ram air 400 car. Also the car originally had a console, but not rally gauges. Someone has added a 74-78 rear spoiler and it has 73-up front fenders.

I have this one listed in my database from some time back. It was then listed as a 'WT' block, no RAIII.

Arata Pontiac in Burlingame must have sold a lot of high-perf Pontiacs. Lots of cars from them turn up here in the Northwest.

No grills in the hood. 15 inch wheels. Wrong alternator. And my favorite, had time to put it on a lift but not take pictures of either the vin on the block or the vin on the transmission. Something easily done with the car on the rack. No picture of the WS stamp either. People who make the claim of numbers matching tend to be highly proud of that and show it. Also ram air on the hood scoop? And I saved the best for last (although the 74 spoiler ends is a close second). The ORIGINAL body panels were massaged to better then original GM perfect. But those sure look like 73 fender braces in the engine compartment........ Air cleaner looks repro too and no clear picture of the underhood either

It's the new definition of numbers matching.
Will have to put this dealer streetside Classic In the lying bs category for future reference.
Is anyone going to hit the report item button?

I had wondered what the rally wheels would look like chromed and painted, I like that look.

It's a RAM AIR car,.....cause it has a Formula hood....and a chinese air cleaner......quit asking silly questions....

Was this the one that had the molded camero (3 piece) rear spoiler on it....from about 10 years ago.....?

I actually like it....color combination is striking.........prolly too much $$$ for a car that doesn't really match the build sheet,though.....

Two things REALLY rub me the wrong way........Those Parts Place repop Formula Wheels just DON'T cut it.....and the chrome wheels look like they belong on a Buick.....

Anybody check out the seller's feedback? It's a wonder people still buy cars from them.

Those are the reproduction wheels they're making now. I really like them and have been strongly considering a set of 15x8's!

An almost greatly optioned car (no gauges the whammy). The added 70 spoiler mutation sure effs with history IMO. The Buick wheel comment was funny and that is kinda what they remind me of..... the no gauge original car was odd with posi 4 speed nature, but "in the day" some preferred aftermarket gauges (looked at as "better" gauge than factory which is probably true)...... If I was looking for a 70 F400 I would sure prefer a non drilled back end one, but this car is really nice and likeable.... to me that $ should = "reasonably original"....

The Buick Comment is sure valid, After seeing it in writing, that easily popped into my mind. a Buick GS had similar wheels..

Been wondering what this color combination would look like on a FB.

I like how the engine bay photos were shot such that you can't tell if it has the original radiator support. The fenders are the 73 and newer style since they have the raised pad for the core support brace and the rectangular cutouts for cage nuts for the hood hinges.

I don't think it was quite 10 years ago, but no... not the same car. Same color combo, though.

The one with the Camaro spoiler was a real Ram Air car. Drag pack, too....

Weren't we going to "fix" the rear spoiler.....with an air chisel......?
