I bought one that looked worse than that out of West Virginia, but it was a low mileage (70K) numbers matching car with all the correct parts. The salt used on the WV roads ate the body up. If you pushed on the sail panel (between the door glass and back window), you could hear the metal crinkle under your fingertips.

Agree - looks bad.

Is this the one that was at the salvage yard in CA that liquidated its inventory a year or two ago? I vaguely recall they had a "red" '70 T/A.

That Dual Snorkel air cleaner has taken a whipping but IIRC the 1970 RAIVs were the only ones equipped with dual snorkels? you can see the scoop bolt tab on the pass side is there. A big if but has anyone ordered the PHS?

Too early to be a IV - the first one was N127735, but the next ones were all N129XXX+.

Nice to dream however, would likely be 100k car if it was.

You do know that you can retract your bid if you accidentally typed in the wrong amount right?

Unfortunately, I've seen people use the bid retraction loop to boost the price of their items. They bid a huge number to see what your max bid is, retract their bid, and place a new one just below your high bid. There's a couple guys on here that do it quite often. Pisses me off everytime I see it.

I know... I hate that when people do that to me though. Good news is... I got outbid... Though I'm still high bidder on another car I bid on..

This car has a/c, could you get an RA IV with air?

This one is not a IV and no, you could not get A/C with a RA IV - in any car, any year.
