Default Help with 70 LeMans OEM Steering Wheel Install

The previous owner of my 70 LeMans installed a Grant steering wheel & installation kit. So I don't what Pontiac parts he threw away. I am installing a Pontiac OEM steering wheel period correct for my car.

I think I am missing some Pontiac parts? I have never installed a OEM steering wheel so I don't know. There is a 1" gap between the steering column and the back of the OEM steering wheel. The steering wheel has one mounting hole and the hole is larger in diameter than the steering column stud so there is too much play between the two.

Attached are some photos. What parts am I missing & what are they called. Any ideas?
I will do my best to answer your questions.

Default On the gap...

There will be a gap before you mount the wheel with the screw. Once it is installed, there will be a gap, but more of .5 cm. For the horn, (particularly a custom cushion), it is a spring with a black tap that goes into the horn cancelling cam. Hope that helps.

Torque it down. See if it sits closer to the collar.

The white item on the back of the steering wheel.....appears to be the turn signal/horn contact cam...does not belong there.

I got the steering wheel on and it fits like a glove and looks great. I had to cut the turn signal /horn contact cam back and cut the center plastic collar so the wheel fits closer to the steering post.

Thanks to all that helped.
