Thank you guys!! I had a great 73rd today with family at home.

Worked on the Firebird this morning. Got the hood on and NEARLY lined up right. Car is shaping up great--but a lot of roadblocks with repro parts. Ames helped us with inner quarter panel trim that wouldn't fit, hood tach that I hooked up wrong, etc. I created one roadblock by mounting 255-70r15 Goodrich T/A's on the rear--29.1" in diameter. They are too close to the wheelwell and rub at the least bump. We're going with 235-70r15 or 255-60r15. Too bad, the 29.1" would have been nice with the 4.11 gears this car has.

Thanks to Scott Thelander who sent a pair of parking lamp sockets to fit the back of the housings. They worked out fine!

Default Happy Birthday Dick

I hope you had a great birthday Dick. Whenever I post a tech question on the 64-65 LeMans section your answers are spot on. You're appreciated.

best regards
