Default 66 ATC A/C in a 67 GP?

The A/C compressor in my 67 GP burnt up and took out the wiring harness. I've been collecting new relays based on the schematics in the '67 Service Manual. Also picked up a NOS programmer.

I finally got the car back from the shop and started looking at the electrical parts of the A/C system. The programmer is completely different and there are only 2 relays under hood (67 service manual shows 3 relays - Hi Blower, Heater Delay, Master) and the blower resistor under the hood has a four blade connector. The new 67 blower resistor has a six blade connector.

Is it possible that I have a 66 A/C ATC system? Can anyone with a 66 ATC A/C car take a look under the hood and see if there are only 2 relays and that the blower resistor is a 4 blade connector?

Did you look at a 1967 AC manual?

I've got a 1967 Pontiac Service Manual that has both the Custom Air Conditioning and Automatic Temperature Control Air Conditioning systems. I don't have a 1967 A/C Service Manual...yet.

The car was built in October of '66. Trying to verify if I have a 67 or 66 ATC A/C system and it's not looking like it's a 67.

Default No water control valve

I was mistaken that I had an ATC system. I have the non-ATC system. Now things are matching up with the service manual. One thing I noticed is that the water control valve has been removed and the vacuum line going to it has been plugged.

Is there any good reason why the valve was removed? Is it recommended to put a water control valve back on the system?

I didn't think the heater door would open without a signal from the valve...but I'm no expert. Had a '69 I couldn't get to put out heat and that was the issue.

The water valve most likely leaked coolant.
