Wouldn't it be great if people were living life, instead of spending it in front of a computer.
As has been said, once winter hits, I'm sure the post count will go up.

Yeah, or they're all on Facebook endlessly trying to find something in the mass of disorganized crap that exists there.

I vote for everybody is out in their car searching for the Holy Grail. We're not dead yet

Many of us are close to the same age.

In the last two years, I had to deal with the following:
- I watched my mom's health decline, with her passing away last year.
- I had a bunch of stuff stored at mom's house, so I had to move it so the property could be sold.
- My oldest son got married this past May.
- My youngest son graduated high school and started college.
- A moron did a lot of damage to my rental house.
- A co-worker left the company, and the company decided not to replace him.

I just went through the busiest two years in my life. I'm looking forward to relaxing in 2016.

I am still a frequent quiet outside observer,, Always been more on the learning side than the teaching side. I may jump in and say something stupid every now and then, OOPP there I go again.

No but really, I was just talking to a buddy last night on the phone about how crazy deep the pontiac knowledge is here, And it might help preserve the hobby and the cars without anyone on here really ever knowing it. Not to mention the many other professions here to help with unrelated issues in the members helping members thread. Ive been bailed out there more than a few times.

Currently there are 107 people viewing the forum (Sunday morning).
One has to wonder how many got lost during the change to the new address.
One has to also wonder how many alias names are/were assigned to one person.
Some people visit the site and quickly have their feeling hurt and don't return.
Some don't know how to use the search function, get frustrated when a simple question is posted and crickets is all they hear.
Some just burn out, sell out, die.

I wonder if other online sites have changed hands.
Maybe the remaining car magazines can do an article on the some of the best online sites to visit for various manufacturers. But, I'm sure they feel it would cut into their dwindling viewership.

I don't understand the question. There are plenty of members, plenty of people online at any given time, and plenty of new posts every day.

I did notice the original poster has been a member since 2007 but has only 50 posts...it may help to contribute more to the community. Tell us about your car, and what you're doing with it. Ask questions, or answer questions from others.

Actually, this board is doing pretty well, most formerly very busy forums have died totally due to Facebook...

This has to be one of the top visited brand specific forums on the net.

And isn't it nice that it is still privately held, not sold out to the big advertising hungry companies and that we don't have 6 popup adds buried into these 16 posts?

Love this forum. Made some real friends, folks I have met in person some not. Made some enemy's. Lost a couple good friends on the forum. Drank a lot had a lot of fun when the chat was active. Had some fun when the forum would get shut down and a bunch of us would go to "The Other" place and raise some hell. Spent a lot of time here dreaming about finishing my car and window shopping. Got motivated eventually and finished my car. Body shop and electrical sections were my friends along with the model specific section. Before the clubhouse came around there would be some serious soap opera crap in the lobby we would get shut down and just when you were about to go nuts it would open again. The forum has changed members come and go some go through changes and get weird sometimes. Forum isn't dead just different. I still got to get my daily fix and check my favorite sections. I don't post much any more but with when I get off my ass and start on my boys Lemans! Just Rambling LOL

Shawn

X2 on winter.
It has been unusually warm here.
Most people belong to other forums as well. My time is split between 2 or 3 others.

Threads would be more interesting if people would add photos or links that pertain to the thread. Just sayin

B-man had a nice thread on his 421 build.
