Excuse my ignorance: Pontiac had a tank-type reverb? What years? Available in what models?

63-67 the large trunk-mounted reverb tank was available for all A and B body models. In 67 there was a smaller dash mounted reverb available for the A bodies. I'm not sure how long after 67 that the reverb was still an option. I think it was still available in 68. It was only available with the AM radio.

Was the "tank" reverb actually an acoustic reverb? Or was it a spring-type reverb in an enclosure?
