Yea, seen them on UHF tv long ago, and there were two or three " The Bishop " skits.
Geez i can remember a close up of that 69 400 Firebird Convertible showing Ram Air IV stickers on the scoops, but have failed to produce the video. The scene was showing the car fully loaded with the bishop and crew driving from the road onto a grassy park and when the car stopped the camera did a super closeup on the scoops. Pterry exciting, and funny. |

Can't tell, is that car right hand drive?
If you stop it at .47 seconds, you can see something on the scoop.

Dang the video evidence escapes me (it was a different Bishop skit). I conceed that it was a 400 car, not a IV stickered car. For whatever reason that episode is gone gone gone Last edited by Half-Inch Stud; 04-02-2016 at 09:46 PM. |

Here's one I put up about 7 years ago showing a Firebird 400 ragtop.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ruCya712yJI We have a couple channels around here that show all the old TV shows. It's amazing how many shows had cool old cars in them, and not just the obvious "I Dream Of Jeannie", "Adam-12", or "Bewitched". I happened to catch a few minutes of "The Doris Day Show", which was your basic sitcom, shot on film, with a heavy laugh track (think "Green Acres", "Get Smart", or Hogan's Heroes", where every line that every actor said was met with a laugh track). In the opening credits for the "The Doris Day Show" (Season 2), she's drives a 1969 Barracuda convertible. The version they show on TV is crystal clear. The version of the opening credits on YouTube is grainy, but still worth watching https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m6J2ZUJ1Auc Mike

Don't know if any of you guys ever watch the animated show "Archer" but in a recent episode they sort of re-enacted the "Bullit" chase ... complete with the pontiac lemans that was parked on one of the streets in the chase in the movie.
