Default Polishing bc/cc

Have a bc/cc paint job that's just about a year old. It was wet sanded and buffed out nice but was never polished. It has developed a slight haze here and there in spots.

What's the next step to do here?
A foam pad and some 3M polishing compound followed by a hand glaze with micro fiber towels and then wax?

Will polishing with the foam pad remove the hazing I have in a few areas?

Hard to distinguish between buffed out and polish. Sometimes they are called the same thing but typically buffing refers to the steps after sanding out the paint with the final step being polish. Each step (grit) removes the scratches (haze) left from the previous step until all the haze is removed.

If you have haze left, use a 3M foam polishing pad (different from a compound pad) with 3M Finesse-It Machine Polish (only need about the size of a dime on the pad). Also keep the pad moist (water and a little rubbing alcohol) with a spray bottle so not to burn the paint or the polish. You can then follow that with 3M Hand Glaze
