Yes, but then you woosed out on putting those 1000+ Hp turbos on the dragster.
Sell those things to someone who can use them. Turbos would easily make 1200+ Hp

But you're not actually racing at least from a engine performance prospective. Your bracket racing. Not trying to slight bracket racing but engine performance / power is irrelevant in bracket racing. And wasn't this entire threads theme engine performance.

Oh buy the way you may want to do a little bit of work on winning part of your program because by the text at the bottom of your post it looks like you haven't won a race in 12 years.
Maybe coat something in the engine or maybe cut off some more of the chassis. ???? Who knows maybe somebody's made a simulation program to show you how to win. Technology is pretty good these days.

Guys that rely on simulation programs ,want the answer without knowing the question. Guys that right the simulation programs know the question and the answer the problem with simulation is how specific the question can be
Don't get me wrong they are great tools if used properly.
I Use them often.

Larry M is a great guy with the simulation stuff and has always said at times he was trying to make it even better.

Some are always better vs others.

I love his software, I have an older version but I may use it different than most. Works great for me to get a lot of quick numbers.

Get a life.

You're as bad as leech.

Doesn't bother me one bit.
I also don't put everything in my sig.

As for this thread, I also didn't mention me or my accomplishments.
I recommended others to do due diligence on who they 'look up to'.

As most of these posts show, most are very infantile.
If that's what the racer is looking for, that's their decision.
I know I have no problem with my engine program.

As for the turbos, they are mine, so I don't give a phuck what Tom V says.

BTW, just saw this quote which I think is appropriate:

Quote:
Math is Math. Math can not be bought. Words can be bought and paid for.

Chris Straub

If one doesn't understand the math they usually lash out so they don't appear stupid.

(waiting for the myriad pics and other infantile posts now)

Apparently you felt differently when you asked me to spec them out for you and paid me the good money for them at INDY, even with the good guy deal I gave you.

Specs haven't changed, Turbos haven't changed, just now you have a hard-on because I asked you if you were ever going to run the parts on your "flea weight" dragster.

Just trying to see the parts used vs sitting on the shelf.

Ok!

So you will bolt these Turbos on your engine (AT SOME POINT) and when you run fast with them, you will conveniently forget who you got them from, why they worked well, and plead ignorance of everything about the turbos and the other boosted engine parts.

Why would you "change your spots" just for me? You have been doing that forever.

You and the Dairy Farmers are experts on forgetting stuff about engine parts that helped them go fast.

The computer tools allow you visualize what's happening without have to run a velocity probe, etc. You still have the think and understand what is going on through the entire system.

John's comments on the short side radius earlier is right on as well. Using your minds eye I reckon the intake ports would go through the valve cover on a traditional Pontiac head to get a straighter shot at the back of the valve.

Played with the bench today .flow goes up with with less depression,291 to 300@ .600.this could be a turbulent issue.I also raised the floor with a slight wing like contour. Could floor be flowing too well and then over shooting the bowl cutting off flow?

Years ago in some of the SAE papers, Ford Engineering reported that a difference of .010" in a port dimension, sometimes made a large difference in flow numbers. Ford went from the "High Riser Head" port design to the "Medium Riser Head" port design and at the end of the day had the same flow and but made more HP on the engine dyno.
