Default Heater Core and other ?s

Can you put the heater cover and blower motor on without taking the fender and hood off?

What holds the heater core in?

I bought the white clay sealant. Does that just seal the cover to the firewall?

To put the engine compartment heater core case on and the blower motor you would need do remove the inner fender at least.

There are clips that hold the heater core in.

Yes seal the case to the firewall using some sort of Soft non-hardening caulking material such as 3m strip caulk.

Is it worth it to pry the inner out versus taking hood and fender off?

To replace the heater core you have to take the inside cover off. Just for the heater core you do not need to mess with hood or fender.

What do the clips that holds the heater core look like?

If you take the blower motor off, can you put it back on once the cover is installed? Hate to take hood and fender off. Grr.

You can not put the far right side screw in to hold the blower motor to case, unless you remove the inner fender or cut a access hole in it to gain access to the screw it in. It is right behind the inner fender.

Can you get away with not putting one screw in? What about using small hands or swivels?

There is no room between the inner fender and that area. Your only option is to cut a access hole in the inner fender or remove it. Or like you say, put one screw in and hope it don't move.
