Default Rear view mirror

Inside. Would it work/be safe to use super glue to stick it to the windshield ?
Or should I buy the kit?

I never tried super glue. I always just get the mirror adhesive kit, since it's only about $5 at most.

Use the correct adhesive, superglue will fog up and make a real mess and other reasons it isn't the glue of choice.

Your local glass replacement shop can do it for you, I know a kid in Spain that needed the metal PC for his '80 T/A, so I stopped in Henderson glass, here in the D, the guy gave it to me for him, but they also have the glue.

The glue used for the bracket is designed to withstand the UV rays. Super glue is not.

Take a small piece of scotch rite and slightly scrub the glass where you are placing the tab, it can help.

Super glue will soak in & delam the glass & then you'll be buying a new windshield. Yes glass is porous.

New windshield normally comes with a rear view mirror mount already glued to it.
