I remember seeing those years ago on the "Ultimate GTO" site (actually, they were the last 1971 entries on the site, and that was in 2009). They are beauties, for sure.

They were not Ralph's

He had a Q-Gold 71 Judge that he sold many years ago to a friend of Don White, I think . I listed the car for him on the old Classical Pontiac site. Don't know what ever came of it.

I know he had a white 69 he sold to Jim Kasmala and it was listed recently in New England for 89 k.-restored. That car was discussed in the lobby late last yr. The 71 came from a family that had a 69-70 & 71 GTO judges . I think they were from Hatboro.

He never had a 70 Judge, but towed Tiger-rific with a Sienna Yellow 70 GTO with a tan int. He used a Featherlite alum trailer and would race both cars the same day at Maple Grove.
I have a pict of both cars set up to go to the Grove outside his old house.

He was good friends with George Dallas who had a 70 GTO RA IV/ AT convert that was Sienna Yellow with a black int. He told be they would pit together. That would make a great pict.

I worked for and was friends with Ralph and his family for many years.

I miss him dearly, especially at this time of the year. We would watch B-J and call each other on the phone and talk about what was going over the block

There is a picture of his 67 GTO race car " Tiger-rific" in a book on Super Stocks in the 1969 chapter.

Thanks,

Kevin

Talking Crimson Tide Fan?

Hey HIS, I know it's going off topic but I'm in NJ and noticed that you had relocated pretty far south of PA. Was that for work or did you decide to retire down in AL? btw, dig the Columbo Icon!
