Default Possible new addition to the family....

hey folks! so, i found a true survivor 1969 firebird sprint in pretty great shape, that a family is selling. they have no idea on it's worth, and i have done as much internet research as i can, and haven't really found any "sold" examples to compare myself. it is liberty blue, (original paint) parchment top and interior, turbo 400 car. garaged it's whole life, dirty, paint chipped, a little musty, some interior plastics decaying, but zero rust, never been wrecked, 91,000 ish miles. runs and drives fine. from what i could find, production numbers were pretty low for an auto/sprint optioned car.

i have always been a gto guy, but this is such a neat original car, i thought it would be a great father son fixer upper deal. (leaving it all original, just going through mechanical, detail interior, paint, etc). what would you say is a fair price? i don't have a lot of decent pics, just think "all there, but a little tired" for it's conditions sake. thanks in advance!

Seems about right to me.

This sounds like a neat car-

Thumbs up GREAT FIND.

That would be the perfect Father & son Project.
They are great little cars and very underrated.
The '69 OHC Sprint engine was the best, Then of course GM/Pontiac killed the program
Trans should be the M38 not M40 so don't think it would be a T400?.

Keep us posted!

That car looks like it's worth way more than that. Every firebird I see for 6-8 grand is a rotted out POS that don't run.

thank you, and i am sure you are correct. i will be honest, i was not sure what year the TH350 came out, and assumed, (we know how that goes!) that it was a TH400. learn something everyday. thanks for the lesson!

and yeah, kind of a "rare bird" in it's own right, only 482 made. it is a van nuys car, paint and interior match the data plate codes, hope to hear back from him soon on closing the deal...
