Blast from the past
Recently found an old pic of my 1974 Grand Am from around 1978.
Original tires. Rallye II center caps apparently didn't stay put. Chrome exhaust tips were rusted away by then.

Nice!!!! I remember having to replace the center caps on my 76 GP's Rally II's a few times myself until I made some sheet metal disk's to retain them from the inside.

The front fender fitment was not the best on this one. You could drive a truck through that gap! It's amazing the difference in build quality from unit to unit back then.

True, fit and finish was pretty bad back then.

The 1973-early 1976 heavy pot metal caps were notorious for breaking off the metal retainer clip. The 1976-81 stamped stainless caps were not as prone to breaking and falling off, but were very easy to remove (thus steal) by hand.
