Default MUSCLE CARS WANTED ~ Prestigious Display at the Grand National Roadster Show 2018

Hello everyone. For those that don't know, the Grand National Roadster Show is the longest running, and most prestigious indoor Hot Rod show in the world. It started in Oakland California back in 1949 and quickly became "The Grand Daddy of em' all. In 2006 it was purchased by it's current owner, and moved to Pomona Fairplex (L.A. County Fairgrounds) where it literally tripled in 'walk-in' attendance, car numbers,as well as the quality. The AMBR (America's Most Beautiful Roadster) is awarded every year, and it is a major honor.

Each year I manage two of the buildings, "The Suede Palace" ,where traditional period correct Hot Rods & Customs gather, and the "Special Theme" building. Next year we are going to house 100 of the best examples of Muscle Cars in the nation. The focus will be 1964 - 1972 American made high horse power detroit Muscle Cars, but will also feature a handful of selected 1961-1963 cars as well. This is going to be very prestigious, and all invited guests will receive a gift, a pair of "All Access" tickets to the event, and an invite only Thursday night party with champagne and cake. This is going to be televised by several stations, as well as coverage from major automotive publications.

I am looking for the following fully restored cars to participate in this:

1961 "Bubble Top" Catalina or Ventura coupe - 389 tripower,4 speed,posi.

1962 Catalina or Ventura coupe - 421 dual quad "Super Duty" 4 speed car , OR 389 Tripower, 4 speed, posi.

1964 GTO coupe - tripower, 4 speed, posi.

1965 GTO coupe - tripower, 4 speed, posi.

1967 GTO coupe - Would love an HO or Ram Air car.

1969 or 1970 GTO coupe - Ram Air IV car.

1969 Trans Am.

1970-1972 Trans Am.

The cars above can either be concourse restorations, or nicely restored "drivers". In addition to the Pontiacs, I will have fine examples of Tripower & W30 442's, LS5 & LS6 Chevelle's, Pace Car Camaro's, Superbirds, Daytona's, 440 Six Pack & Hemi Mopars, Shelby Mustangs, Buick Stage 1 cars, 435 HP tripower Corvettes, 396 Chevelle SS, Yenko cars, AMX Javelins. Demons, Dusters, Cuda's, Fairlane GT's, 409's, Max Wedge Cars, 406 Fords, and more.

ALL Pontiac's will be displayed in the front of the building, where people enter. Like all of you, am partial to Pontiac's, and would love to show the world prime examples of these machines. Please feel free to contact me here, and/or post pictures of you cars on this thread. Thanks so much, Axle (909)-437-2068

Since there's a dedicated muscle car display next year, featuring Pontiacs yet, I'll definitely make it a point to drop by.

For those who haven't been, this show is HUGE.

I've been once two years ago and loved it, but there definitely needs to be more Pontiacs. Especially underdogs or more unique types. I love GTOs and Trans Ams but often what really makes me turn around is the unexpected. Catalinas, Tempests, wagons, etc. and even true rare types as well. If by some slight chance a real '69 T/A shows up I may have to go again. Bonus points for gassers.

No it doesn't. As a Pontiac guy, I want to showcase a lot of great Pontiac muscle cars, and will be displaying them in the front portion of the building. Let's rally some fine examples so that we can show all of the Ford,Mopar,Chevy, guys that Pontiacs were great cars, too!

I have a '61 Pontiac that meets the requirements except it's a Bonneville and not a Ventura... Oh, well - I'm not in a position to get it out to California anyway.

Just as a suggestion, you could attend one or both of the following events located 'fairly' local to SoCal and talk to the owners of the cars that you like to see if they would be interested in participating in your event. Speaking with individuals on site will allow you to gain a better perspective of the people as well as the cars you would like to invite to the show next year.

Yenko Camaro's, Yenko Chevelles, COPO Camaro, Hemi cars, 440 x6 pack cars, Boss 429, Boss 302, GT, and Mach 1 Mustangs,W30 Oldsmobiles, real AC Cobra's, Mickey Thompson's Corvette with "Mystery Engine", Lots of GTO's , LS6 Chevelle's,409's, Max Wedge cars, AMC Scrambler, AMC The Machine. We even have a 1 of 1 , 1968 AMX that was painted pink from the factory, for Playmate of the year!
