Default WANTED: GA INTERIOR TRIM PIECE

After getting the GA home from the paint shop, I realized that I am missing the interior trim piece that goes across the top of the windshield. I know it was there when the car went to paint. The shop had all the other pieces in the trunk, and they are not taking responsibility for the loss. So I am looking for a replacement if any members have one they are wiling to sell. Thanks in advance.

That should be an easy one to find. ANY '73-'77 2 door A or A special will have the same one.

Didn't have a black one, but should be a easy piece to spray dye! Not dry or chalked up, it is faded. If your interested $10.00 plus the shipping.

Thanks Lyn.

I found the clips today for the roof trim. I saw there was a '76 Grand LeMans on the wrecking yard website.

Stobin, I drilled & counter sunk trim screws in that trim piece at an equal distance across the trim piece & used the type of trim screws that are in just about every GM car on thee planet. They are the stainless with the beveled washer built or installed on them. It holds the piece up better & I think it looks better to have a bit of the stainless bits up there. For me it was very easy to put in & it really does hold them up better , & those clips are so temperamental & will either break or don't hold the piece in place very well as they get older.

Lyn, sure looks the same.

I've owned several A bodies, and have NEVER had an issue with that piece of molding, or the clips that attach it...
