celebration of mike at norwalk
ok guys Norwalk is coming quick! I have talked to pete several times about doing something to honor mike. we are going to plan a moment of silence followed by a parade lap down the track for anybody who wants to join. wear your shirts! there will be a group photo in the stands to send to mikes mom and we are having a get together in my pit Friday night. I am bringing bbq for everyone and am open for suggestions and help with that. also want to pass a helmet around that night for the boys. pete asked to not be contacted by everyone just get in touch with me and he and I will get it worked out. easier to talk with him when we work together for nhra. please plan on coming down Friday night. bring beverages of your choice I will have coolers full of water and sodas. lets all have fun and enjoy the evening laughing about things mike has done or talk about or experiences with him. may try a 50/50 drawing? and maybe a silent auction if you have something you could donate we will have room to set it up. would really like to make it enjoyable for all and help the boys out with all of the expenses involved. thank you and please plan on Friday night in my pits to have a good time, food and company danny

thanks guys this is truthfully something that Brian, John and I started talking about right after the accident. I am just fortunate enough to work with Pete and Andrea and they have been very cooperative. credit does go to them to! please don't forget that and let them know if you see them. John and I had a talk and he gave me some ideas to get the ball rolling. lets make it a successful evening and have fun. thanks again!

I text with Mike Jr every so often. They are doing well. Aaron (younger brother) is with his mom. Mike Jr is working and still messing with cars. I asked what he's gonna do with dads car. He said he doesn't know yet. He told me he will be at Norwalk.

ok guys I leave for Norwalk 2 weeks from today. how about a count of how many are going to be coming to our pit Friday night? just making sure we are getting enough meat smoked and don't want to come up short. we want to make sure its a good time for everyone and hopefully successful for the boys. byob! jam the pit space up! only 2 weeks so back to work!
