Default WTB 1970 Monte Carlo SS 454

I love all my Pontiacs, but I also like the early Monte Carlos. I am looking to buy a 1970 Monte Carlo SS 454 in good to excellent condition. I have a couple in project status. I have posted on the First Gen Monte Carlo Forum, and the Supercar Registry without much success. Just shaking the bushes. Anybody have one or know of one ? Thanks for all replies.

Call Ray Fluke at 814-739-2871 or at least keep his number. He has specialized in 70-72 Monte Carlos for decades. Last I knew he had two SS Montes, not sure if they were 70 or 71. But they were projects. But he will have parts. Lots of parts. He is getting on in years so I say move sooner than later.

I have a neighbor that has a Green SS 454 70 Monte Carlo. Has had it at least 12 years. I can ask if he's interested in selling.

Try posting on the AACA buy/sell forum. You will access a lot of older collectors, many of which are reducing collections. Bob Smits
