Dreaming of ? That would only happen if they had something to offer that isnt on the market already like improved chambers, priority cooling i/e smaller holes up front max size in back slightly better port / bowl config or same as what we already have but cheaper i guess, will be interesting
Im still waiting for a slightly improved block .

Yup only a fool would believe we ( pontiac hobby ) will never run out of good stock 400 / 455 blocks if this hobby is to have a long term future ( perhaps after im gone) a stock block with a little more meat in critical areas at a little less $ than a full on race block will be needed

They probably continued to cast the 400 block down in South America somewhere for another ten years after it disappeared here.
I know nothing about heads, they could be the best in the world for all I know, but I'll start the beat down on the drawings. I could produce better drawings and 3D modeling in one day. |

That's ok, I stay pretty busy Seriously, you need to up the game there, these days people judge the quality of upcoming products by the quality of their presentation. Typically presentation products are based on working models and drawings so rightly or wrongly it speaks to people about the final product.
And I agree, it is good to know that people are still involved in complex projects like this. Pontiac might have lower numbers than other marquis, but they have dedicated fans. As scarcity of original parts drive price increases, aftermarket becomes more and more attractive. PonJon, that was done with SolidWorks. I'll use that or Autodesk Inventor depending on the necessities of the particular project. SolidWork seems to have more CAM support, Inventor easier exchange, integration into other projects/software environments. These days I just to it mostly as a favor for friends etc. People involved in racing that want to flesh out a new product or idea. |

I'd like to see options out there. I find it somewhat insulting that E-heads and others cost a good $1k MORE than their SBC counterparts for an assembled pair of heads. Maybe I am just dumb, but does it cost so much more for Pontiac flavored aluminum and electrons to run the cnc machine? I suspect there are some killer margins in there somewhere.
Bring more to the party, it's good for all of us. Give me a reason to stop using 50 year old D ports!

Your intent may have have been good, your communication style on an open forum not so much. I'm impressed with the person (company) with the idea, the design, investment and fortitude to manufacture. |

Didn't attack anyone. Made an observation about promotional materials. A true observation. Also said the product might be the best out there. Anyone producing anything for sale to the general public, as I have in the past, processes people's opinions and moves on. The more recent photos posted look much better. |
