Looks like a Zahn cup.....as said, one method of measuring viscosity.

Yep used the stick.....then got fancy with the stop watch and Zahn Viscosity cup.....only the Professionals own one.....lol

How it runs off the stick always worked for me. I never had a problem laying out AE like it was wet sanded and rubbed out lacquer.

Still use a wool buff over foam too.

Wool at low speed beats the snot out of foam.

Go with the Micro Wool......and you won’t have all those wool hairs flying around the shop and up your nose

I have some of those that came in that same bag! I inherited them from a friend about 15 years ago.
I'm one of those who like the wool pads for the initial cut over 2000. But now that 3000 and 5000 are available, you can hand rub sand scratches out with very little effort.

Appears to me to be an Ass-Master 2000 ... horrible things, had some serious problem that were sorted out with the AM-3000 model.
