Ausmus and Langer both running well over at Norwalk.
John qualified #2 with a 7.899@174, Dwight was #4 with a 7.957@172
Dwight nearly LB3A first round, he caught it, and was able to keep it green, but unfortunately lost on a holeshot.
Langer received a competition bye 1st rd, and picked up a W 2nd round. The announcer said he earned a bye for the next round at 5 cars.
I didn't see any of the Ray's passes in qualifying, but the announcer did mention that he had been having trouble keeping the front end down. 1st rd the car blew the tires off at the hit.
I believe Mike Davis is there running, and I believe Gary Beamer as well.

I was there with the FAST class. Took forever between rounds. Just a lot of people there. And the rain yesterday didn’t help. Still had a great time.

John left on David Theisen at 3 cars, but didn’t have the e.t. told hold him off. Still a good showing!

"Dwight nearly LB3A first round, he caught it, and was able to keep it green, but unfortunately lost on a holeshot."

Sorry, what does LB3A mean?

Jeff Bocier qualified #1 in NSS in the Tameless Tiger 63 Tempest, but it was Mike Davis that took him out in the first round.

I screwed up majorly and was tuning the fuel curve based upon what the racepak said instead of what my weather station said and got lost on race day. Ya live and learn. I did have a bad fast hot rod.

We didn't leave before tree activated transbrake didn't work staging 2nd bulb matted it luckily stopped it balls deep stage waited for green left foot brake, note to self that doesn't work to stick tire. As Langer said he made it to semis with 18 car field and killed the tree every round, nice job brother!!
weather was 135 grains 29.04 baro 3600da brutal!

I was wondering what was up with some of the cars where the track announcer mentioned a few cars having a 570 Pontiac?

I was impressed that you even caught it.. That sucker took a big bite. 9/10 that would've been a red eye
